IQNECT – Codebeamer AI #
IQNECT 1.3.0 is a feature-expansion release that introduces multiple user-facing enhancements across trace visualization, semantic search, analysis workflows, and dashboard behavior. This update also resolves several UI and loading-state issues to improve stability, clarity, and navigation throughout the platform.
New features #
- Added a new Explore Traces feature available for most resources, where users can build out a trace diagram by starting from a resource and expanding its traces. This view also shows suspected traces and makes it possible to clear the suspected flag on individual traces.
- Added a new View Traces feature available for most resources, where users can see the complete upstream and downstream path starting from a resource.
- Added a new Advanced Search feature where users can specify more filters to further refine their semantic searches.
- Improved the Analysis feature so that the analysis result no longer covers the item being analyzed. The feature now shows the item next to the analysis window and also shows the improvement suggestion next to the analyzed item.
- Added a search field to menus that show trackers, such as the decomposition menus.
- Added the option to run an analysis on all items that have been added to a dashboard, instead of keeping the current analysis scores until they are updated.
- Added a loading indicator to dashboard pages to show that content is loading instead of just displaying a blank page.
Bug fixes #
- Fixed an issue where the number of items did not update in the decompose view after adding or removing items.
- Improved the appearance of segment controls so that it’s clearer which segment is selected.
- Fixed an issue where the option to use an improvement suggestion was not available for plain text items.
- Fixed an issue where certain items with no description could be analyzed or decomposed.
- Fixed an issue where the autocomplete icon would disappear from the toolbar when switching items between plain text and wiki formats.
- Fixed an issue where the tracker dashboard would only show 25 items, even if the tracker had more.
- Fixed an issue where full-screen IQNECT views could scroll with the page instead of always remaining fixed.
- Fixed an issue where the Codebeamer footer was no longer anchored to the bottom of the page while logged in to IQNECT.
- Improved the loading time of the decomposition target menu.
- Additionally, fixed an issue where items in the decomposition targets menu would partially appear before the list was fully loaded.
- Fixed an issue where empty analysis or decomposition results would cause the UI to appear to be loading indefinitely. A message will now be displayed instead.
Notable changes #
- The duplicate analysis has been disabled until its functionality is revamped.
